We fully recognise and understand the profiles of the students you are working with, their challenges and the reasons you may be referring to us.

As part of the project, we offer early intervention using bespoke approaches to supporting student’s needs within their school context. Support is delivered by practitioners with SEND, AP and mainstream experience 1:1 or in small groups. They will design and develop student focused approaches based on individual need. We use the lens of Trauma Perceptive Practice to develop students' understanding of their own behaviours and thoughts and to improve their attitude to learning. Often using a small step approach, we work purposefully to help them to understand the importance of boundaries and consequences and to master their perception of their own learning challenges.
There is also wider support available for students and school's, we have a Consultant Team Around the Family Support Officer (TAFSO) and Child and Young Person Officers from Essex Police.

The project is directed strategically and operationally by experienced AP and mainstream school leaders.
